Blogging Off The Weight 2



How many of you thought I forgot?? I know, I know all of you. I promise I haven't forgotten to update, I have been so extremely busy!! Between two jobs and the hustle and bustle of the season I haven't had time in the evenings to sit down!! I love it, well the hustle and bustle anyway!! So, as far as an update, the scales showed this morning that I lost 3 more pounds for a grand total of 6! WOO!! I have to daily remind myself that this, much like anything in life, is a process. I won't wake up and be at my goal weight. I have to daily fight the battle and daily be patient with myself. Its been tough trying to eat in moderation during this season. I should confess that I am not depriving myself of the season's most delicious delights but I am just not gorging myself on them. Portion Control is the name of game this season haha!!

Just so you know, I do have some fun updates from this holiday season but that will have to wait til maybe tonight after some shopping with a...friend =)

You've lost 6 pounds...I found them. I'm so proud of you! I'll be starting mine AFTER the holidays becuz as I found your lost pounds, I've lost my willpower.

As I am sure many of you have read or heard, my grandfather passed away this week after a long hard fought battle over the years and especially this last month. One thing can be said for sure, my grandfather was a fighter with a will to live and one you never heard complain about any of his ailments. Blogging Off The Weight & More

Nope, I have not forgotten, everyday when I crave that chocolate or that supersize meal... I think about this picture of the old cantankerous lady in a moo-moo and try my best to resist such temptation!! The scales are showing a loss of about 28 pounds (depending on the week of the month its 30, HA!!!!) While these results are slow I am reminded that just like everything else in life, this too is a process, filled with ups and downs. Do you ever just have those rare days that you feel skinny?? I know I do and those are the days that I REALLY try to avoid the mirrors! Let me have my delusional skinny day once a month! haha One day, it will no longer be a delusion and I will have a flat stomach but that day is not today! I have noticed a change in some clothes and how they fit, that is fun. Swimsuit season is basically upon us and my body sings "oh happy day" in a sarcastic tune when I think about this! Lovin' My Louisiana

Let's face it, Louisiana gets a bad rap most of the time. Sure, we may not have it all together but show me a state that does. Having grown up in Louisiana, I may be a little partial. While I love to visit other states and every now and then I toss the idea of living elsewhere, my heart always comes back to my Louisiana and why I love her so. I could not imagine living elsewhere when football season rolled around, or even the ungodly summer heat, I think I would miss it...
